A stop-motion-inspired animation created using Cinema 4D for the 2020 SHOP.COM International Convention. Set against the backdrop of the global COVID-19 shutdowns, the video reimagines the classic “Boy and the Starfish” story to emphasize the enduring power of compassion in the face of extraordinary challenges. Rigged character designs and uniquely textured environments were developed to bring dynamic movement and emotion to the story, transforming the timeless tale into a vivid, heartfelt visual experience.
